... on 11th October 2001 the “1st WestWood Project Event” took place under the slogan: “Luxury Parking on WestWood” – first-hand information.

More than 60 experts took up our invitation and used the opportunity to meet all those involved in the refurbishment of multi-storey car parks (see project report) – i.e. clients, applicators and manufacturers – at the same time. Their questions about the project, its completion and the problems involved were answered directly on site. Everyone found the opportunity to examine the waterproofing and surfacing of the refurbished parking levels both instructive and interesting.

... on 13th November 2002 the “2nd WestWood Project Event” took place at the Panorama Inn Hotel in Hamburg Billstedt under the slogan: “Parking Permitted on WestWood” – first-hand information. This time a large number of experts from the north of Germany found out everything they needed to know about waterproofing and surfacing methods for multi-storey car parks. The new “marquetry” coating (see above) aroused special interest. An oversized “No Parking” sign with a 12 m diameter was integrated in the Wecryl Textured Coating of the waterproofing system applied to the inner courtyard of the hotel’s car park. To demonstrate the wide range of design options, the hotel’s logo was also incorporated in the coating at the entrance to the underground car park.
